Farris Wheel Music Studio – Lesson Policies

Welcome to Farris Wheel Music Studio!

We’re here to support students of all ages and skill levels in their musical journey. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow as a musician, we’re excited to be part of your progress. While our specialty is Vocal Training, we also offer instruction in various musical disciplines.

Lesson Schedule

• Private lessons are 30 minutes long and take place once a week, following the Lebanon Community School Calendar.

• Lessons may be held during school breaks only with prior arrangement with your teacher.

• Please arrive on time and come prepared with your music and materials.

Location

• Lessons are held at 103 E Main St., Lebanon, IN 46052 — conveniently located in the Heart of Lebanon.

• Parents are welcome to observe the first lesson. After that, we ask that you wait in our reception area or explore Downtown Lebanon. This helps build a strong teacher-student connection.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24-hour notice is required to cancel a lesson. Please contact us via:

• To reschedule, use the provided Google Calendar link to sign up for a Saturday make-up lesson.

• Students may switch lesson times with another student, but you are responsible for making those arrangements and notifying the teacher in advance.

• No-shows or cancellations with less than 24-hour notice may not be eligible for a make-up lesson unless it’s an emergency.

• We may offer online or recorded video lessons if notice is given in advance.

• To discontinue lessons, please provide two weeks’ written notice (email accepted). Payment is still required for the final two weeks, whether attended or not.

Materials

• Your teacher will recommend specific lesson books after the first lesson.

• Parents/students are responsible for purchasing the required materials.

Practicing & Progress

• Daily practice (15–30 minutes) is vital for improvement.

• Choose a quiet space to practice and stay focused.

• You’re welcome to record your lessons to help with review and warm-ups at home.

Tuition & Payments

• Lessons are sold as session packages (30 minutes each).

Session Lengths:

• Fall/Winter Session: August – December 23 (18 weeks)

• Summer Session: June – August 4 (8 weeks)

Payment Plans:

• Fall/Winter: $126/month for 5 months (total: $630)

• Summer: $130/month for 2 months (total: $260)

• Discount Options:

  • Pay 8 weeks in advance: $240 total ($30/lesson)

  • Pay full session: $450 total ($25/lesson)

Your payment secures your lesson time. We do not issue refunds or credits for missed lessons. Any credit must be used within the session.

Payment Methods:

• Cash

• Check (payable to Farris Wheel Music Studio)

• Digital: Square or Venmo

• Invoices will be sent via email one week before each month begins.

• A $5 late fee applies if payment is not received within 3 days of the due date.

Referral Program

• Refer a new student who enrolls for at least one month and receive one free lesson.

• Each referral also earns you an entry in a drawing for a free month of lessons.

• Drawings take place in April, August, and November.

• The more referrals you make, the more chances you have to win!
